RIX GLINT G3 Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope

The RIX GLINT G3 combines high-performance thermal imaging, long-range laser rangefinding and onboard ballistic calculation in a lightweight, well-balanced platform.

Built around a 384 × 288, 12μm thermal sensor, the GLINT G3 features an ultra-sensitive <20mK NETD, fast 60Hz refresh rate and a bright 35mm F0.9 objective lens. This combination delivers detailed thermal images, smooth target tracking and dependable performance in demanding weather and low-contrast conditions.

An integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,500 metres, while the onboard ballistic calculator provides real-time aiming guidance based on range, environmental conditions and ammunition data.

Enhanced Thermal Clarity

The GLINT G3 uses a high-transmission F0.9 objective lens to capture more thermal energy and produce brighter, more detailed images. Combined with its <20mK sensor sensitivity, the scope can distinguish subtle temperature differences in challenging environments.

Its 60Hz refresh rate provides smooth imaging when scanning, following moving animals or transitioning between targets.

Performance in Challenging Weather

Advanced image-processing algorithms dynamically improve image clarity and contrast as environmental conditions change. A dedicated Weather Mode, including a specialised Rain Mode, helps maintain target definition in humid, rainy and foggy conditions.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The built-in laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurements out to 1,500 metres, with a stated measurement accuracy of ±1 metre. This gives the user immediate range information without requiring a separate handheld rangefinder.

Real-Time Ballistic Calculation

The onboard ballistic calculator uses measured distance, environmental information and ammunition data to provide real-time aiming guidance. This reduces the need for manual range estimation and complicated holdover calculations in the field.

Lightweight and Well Balanced

Weighing approximately 645g, the GLINT G3 is designed to minimise unnecessary weight and maintain comfortable rifle balance. Its streamlined construction supports faster shouldering, smoother target transitions and easier handling during extended periods in the field.

Flexible Replaceable Battery System

The GLINT G3 is powered by a replaceable 21700 battery and can also accept an 18650 battery using the supplied adapter sleeve. Batteries can be changed quickly in the field, allowing users to extend operating time without waiting for the device itself to recharge.

At 25°C, the stated operating time is approximately 5.5 hours. The scope can also be powered externally through its 5V USB Type-C connection.

Recording and Storage

Capture thermal video and photographs directly through the scope. The GLINT G3 records at a resolution of 1200 × 804 and includes 64GB of built-in memory for storing footage and images.
