Registration

You must register your RIX Optics device here.

Duration

All RIX Optics complete devices come with a standard 3-year warranty. For thermal imaging devices featuring 384×288 resolution detectors or higher, an additional 2-year extended warranty is available upon submitting the Warranty Registration Form.

Coverage

RIX Optics products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects or breakage associated with the intended normal use of the product during the applicable warranty period from the date of purchase.

Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to products that have been modified, abused, neglected or misused outside their intended use.

It does not cover normal wear, intentional damage, sensor core burns or damage, operator error, damage caused by host weapons or ammunition, theft, loss, or other causes not specifically covered by the warranty.

Products repaired or modified by the customer or another third party without prior written consent from RIX Optics may have their warranty invalidated.

The warranty also does not apply to damage caused by failure to follow product use or storage instructions, impact, fire, lightning, flooding, human negligence, natural disasters or force majeure events.

Repair

If you believe your RIX Optics product requires warranty attention, please contact our UK service team. We aim to make the warranty and repair process as straightforward as possible.

Repair or Replacement Policy

Some faults or components may not be repairable. If your product is diagnosed as unrepairable, or falls outside the warranty terms, our service team will contact you to discuss the available options.

Where a warranty repair cannot be completed within a reasonable period after receipt, a replacement product or appropriate equivalent may be offered where applicable.

Customers are responsible for the cost of sending products to us for assessment or repair. For approved warranty repairs, return carriage to the customer will be covered by RIX Optics UK. For out-of-warranty or paid repairs, shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
